William L. Stevens of Newfane, NY husband of Marilyn Drier Stevens entered into rest peacefully at home.

He was born in Newfane, NY August 9, 1934, the son of the late Howard Stevens and Gretrude Smith Stevens. Bill worked for W.B. Eaton Construction Company in Lockport as a Carpenter/General superintendent. He has lived in Newfane all his life; member of St. Brendan on the Lake R. C. Church, enjoyed golfing, woodworking, hunting, fishing, traveling and camping.

Father of Cheryl (Mark) Godfrey of North Tonawanda, NY, Lori (Michael) Prescott of Pendleton, NY and Terry (Paula) Stevens of Brockport, NY. Grandpa of Michelle (Ray) Metzger, Alex and Darren Godfrey, Kelly, Daniel and Michael (Stephanie) Prescott, Nicholas, Nathaniel and Megan Stevens. Great grandpa of Cole and Madisyn. Brother of Shirley (Richard) Geise of Newfane, NY, Douglas (Susan) Stevens of Charleston, SC and the late Mary Gifford, Lorraine Steen, Katherine Behm, Margaret Whittier, Betty Hoffman, Jean Wilson and Robert Stevens. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
