NEWFANE — A 16-year-old male told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies this morning that he was assaulted Saturday night by a man with a pool ball.
The teen told patrol that the assault happened around 9 p.m. when a man threw the ball at him after playing games at an unknown location in Newfane.
The teen said that the other party, who he believed to be a man from Medina, "was upset about something regarding the games they were playing and threw the ball at him."
The teen also said that the assailant made threats to punch him in the face.
