TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 20-year-old Buffalo woman was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana Sunday morning.
According to a report by the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, Alexis P. Szczygiel, was found speeding in a 55 mph zone on South Transit Road when she was stopped by patrol.
Patrol could smell the odor of marijuana and Szczygiel admitted to having a "blunt," which she handed to patrol along with a small clear plastic bag containing suspected marijuana.
She was charged with speeding an unlawful possession and ordered to appear in Town of Lockport Court on Jan. 22. The suspected marijuana and "blunt" were secured to the NCSO laboratory for evidence and analysis.
