Shirley J. Capen Of Buffalo, NY formerly of Newfane, NY entered into rest Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Erie County Medical Center.

She was born in Newfane, NY March 12, 1935, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Evelyn Dence Capen. Shirley was a graduate of Newfane High School class of 1953. She worked in downtown Buffalo at the Goodwill office and at that time was living on West Delavan Ave. in Buffalo, NY. She attended Lockport Senior Citizens and Community Vocational Rehab Center Life Enrichment Group.

Shirley will be missed by her loving sister Eleanor Miles of Newfane and the late Virginia Watson and her twin brother Robert “Bobbie” Capen. Loving niece of Barbara Capen of Lockport. Sister in law of Sheila Capen and the late Hubert Watson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
