ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
An 18-year-old Buffalo man was charged with petit larceny and robbery this afternoon after allegedly robbing a Lockport man at a barber shop this morning.
According to LPD, Tarence S. Callaham, 18, of Buffalo, had walked into a High Street Barber Shop around 10 a.m. and met with a man whom he owed money. Callaham asked if the man would step outside to settle their debt, which the man did.
Callaham asked the man if he could make change for a $100 bill. When the other man pulled money out of his pocket to attempt to break the bill, Callaham grabbed it from him and ran, the report says.
Shortly before 2 p.m. LPD recieved a phone call that the person they were loking for was in the area of South Transit and West Genesee streets. Callaham was located at 36 South Transit St. and charged.
He is due in City Court Wednesday morning.
