Brandon K. Nemec entered into peaceful, eternal rest at Women’s & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo January 26, 2015.

Born in Buffalo on December 21, 1999 he is the cherished son of Heather Sims and Carlton (Kateri) Nemec; step-brother of Dakota Dubois; grandson of Charles Nemec, Sr., Carolyn Nemec, Ernest Sims and Cathy Sims; great grandson of the late Doris & Carlton Stump, Bernie Berube and the late Shirley Berube.  Brandon is also survived by his aunts, Christina (Douglas) Visger, Carrie, Kelly, Tara, and Lisa Sims, and his uncle Charles Nemec, Jr. He was predeceased by his infant brother Carlton Nemec, Jr. Brandon leaves behind several other aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and the many lives he touched during his past eleven years, after surviving a near drowning accident at the age of 4.

The family sends their deepest gratitude to all those who have prayed for, and touched Brandon’s life as he fought many medical miracles and obstacles.

Relatives and friends may call Thursday, January 29th from 5-8 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where a prayer service will be held Friday, January 30th at 10 AM with Rev. Joe Payne from Hess Road Wesleyan officiating.  Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery.  Memorial donations to Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, 219 Bryant St., Buffalo, NY 14222 or to WNY Challenger’s Sport, 3511 Landers Ln., Gasport, NY 14067 would be appreciated by the family.
