BUFFALO — The Buffalo Sabres announced this afternoon that they have assigned forward Tim Schaller to the Rochester Americans.
Schaller had been called up by the team on Tuesday, playing 6:50 in the Sabres shootout win against the Tampa Lightning. He was credited with two hits and won 75 percent of his faceoffs in the game.
