BUFFALO — Jhonas Enroth notched his 100th career win as the Buffalo Sabres won their fourth straight at home Thursday night.
Matt Moulson scored twice and Tyler Ennis recorded three assists in the 4-3 victory over the Calgary Flames.
After a scoreless first period, Moulson started the scoring at 5:34 of the second period, assisted by Ennis. Calgary's Mark Giordano made it 1-1 at 11:31, helped by Dennis Wideman and Jiri Hudler. Three minutes and 10 seconds later, Marcus Foligno put the Sabres back up 2-1 with assists by Drew Stafford and Nicolas Deslauriers. And Calgary came back to tie it again on a David Jones goal at 17:06. Curtis Glencross and Josh Jooris had the assists on the goal.
Calgary took the lead 3-2 at 3:14 of the third period on a Sean Monahan goal, assisted by Joe Colborne. At 7:59, Zemgus Girgensons knotted the game up again, assisted by Ennis and Josh Gorges. Finally, at 12:31, the scoring concluded in the same manner it began with a Moulson goal assisted by Ennis. Girgensons also assisted on the goal.
With the win, the Sabres are not 11-16-2. The Sabres next play at 7 p.m. when they host the Florida Panthers at the First Niagara Center.
