Three minutes and 10 seconds later, Marcus Foligno put the Sabres back up 2-1 with assists by Drew Stafford and Nicolas Deslauriers. And Calgary came back to tie it again on a David Jones goal at 17:06. Curtis Glencross and Josh Jooris had the assists on the goal.

Calgary took the lead 3-2 at 3:14 of the third period on a Sean Monahan goal, assisted by Joe Colborne. At 7:59, Zemgus Girgensons knotted the game up again, assisted by Ennis and Josh Gorges.
