TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 39-year-old Lockport man was charged Friday with drugged driving and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Peter K. Boes Jr. was observed passing a red light on Lincoln Avenue, according to the report by New York State Police. While patrol was interviewing him, a strong smell of marijuana was emitting from the vehicle, the arrest report said.
Boes, Jr. was given and failed the standardized field sobriety tests and was subsequently arrested for driving while ability impaired by drugs. He was issued citations and an appearance ticket for the Town of Lockport Court on Jan. 8.
