James W. Sheehan of Lockport, NY formerly of Olcott, NY entered into rest Thursday, December 18, 2014 in Eastern Niagara Hospital Lockport, NY.

He was born in Lockport, NY April 1, 1944 the son of the late Charles Leo and Helen Marie McGreevy Sheehan. James worked for Harrison Radiator in Lockport in production and maintenance for 35 years retiring in 1999. He enjoyed baseball, bowling, fishing and was a avid NY Yankee fan.

Father of Jeffery (Tara) Sheehan of Lockport, Dana (Christina) Sheehan of Binghamton, NY and Mendi (Vince) Tylec of Gasport, NY. Grandfather of Natalie, Madelyn, Aidan, Colin, Lexi, Laci, Laura and Leah. Brother of the late Dina Laliberte and Patrick Sheehan.

No prior visitation. A Memorial Service will be held TUESDAY, December 23, 2014 at 11:00 AM at RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC. 2670 Main St. Newfane, NY. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery. Memorials to the American Diabetes Association Amherst Office 315 Alberta Drive Amherst, NY 14226 would be appreciated by the family.
