ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
The Express, which is a member of the NA3EHL, will welcome all 10 of the league's teams for the three-day event. The NA3EHL includes teams from New England, Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and offers players a great deal of exposure to college scouts.
“This is really exciting for us to play host to such a major tournament – and to welcome hockey players, fans and scouts from all over the Northeast to this amazing new arena,” said Lockport Express General Manager and Head Coach Frank Vecchio.
In all, there will be a total of 15 games played, with the kickoff at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 16, as the New Hampshire Fighting Spirit take on the undefeated Jersey Shore Wildcats. Lockport’s first test will come at 7:30 p.m. that same night against the Cape Cod Islanders.
The Express is off to a 16-6 record this season – including an eight-game winning streak – which puts them solidly in second place in the Western Conference and third place overall in the league.
There will be multiple game ticket packages for the showcase available:
- Single-game Tickets: $5 for adults, free for children under 12
- Blue Pass: All four Friday nights games for $15
- Red Pass: All nine Saturday games for $25
- Orange Pass: Both Sunday games for $8
- Gold Pass: All 15 games for $35
