NEWFANE — A Fuller Road man was charged with driving while intoxicated and other driving infractions following an early morning accident on Coomer Road on Saturday.
According to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, Ronald J. Hensberry, 26, 2099 Fuller Road, told patrol that he was northbound on Coomer Road when he hit a patch of ice, lost control and spun out into a ditch.
While interviewing Hensberry, patrol determined him to be intoxicated. He was charged with DWI, speeding, and driving on the shoulder and taken to the Niagara County Jail where he was held on $250 bail. He was to be in Town of Newfane Court on Tuesday.
His car was towed and held for 12 hours.
