William Norman Diel entered into rest November 10, 2014 at home. Born December 18, 1925, he was the son of Anthony and Amelia (Murphy) Diel.

Billy worked at Lockport City Hall for 30 years as the maintenance man and at Norten Labatories. Also he played in the band "Bill Diel and the Aristicrates". Billy is the beloved father of Michael (Sandy) Diel, Debra Sabella, Douglas (Emily Waterman) and Julie Diel. Cherished grandfather of Michael, Joel and Amanda Diel, Shawn, Steven and Shane Sabella, Anthony, Andrew and Michaila Diel, and Daryl, Melissa and Trinity Diel and the late Brandon Diel, Great Grandfather of eight, brother of Gerald (Kathleen) Diel, and the late Jack Diel, brother in law of Mary Diel, also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call from 2-4 & 7-9 on Thursday at the Taylor & Reynolds Funeral Home, corner of Transit and Niagara Streets, where prayers will be held on Friday 9:30 AM. A mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM at all Saints Parish, 76 Church St. Entombment in Glenwood Cemetery
