Lockport police were at the suspect's home just before 7 a.m. searching for evidence.
Chandler confessed to the early-morning shooting of Colton Baker-Durst, who was taken via Mercy Flight to ECMC. He was most recently confirmed to be in critical condition at the hospital, but police were not positive about his outlook.
According to police, Chandler shot Baker-Durst three times at approximately 12:24 a.m. near the intersection of Church and Grand streets.
Chandler was found by detectives shortly thereafter and was brought into LPD headquarters where he was questioned and confessed, according to LPD. He has not yet been charged, however, according to Det. Capt. Brian Wentland.
