ENP STAFF REPORTS

TOWN OF LOCKPORT — An 18-year-old Tonawanda man is facing numerous traffic charges after Niagara County Sheriff's deputies stopped him for a suspended registration.
Todd L. M. Banks, 18, 19 Channing Place, Tonawanda, was stopped around 10:47 p.m. Friday on South Transit Road for having a suspended registration.
Further DMV checks revealed that his Banks' "permit only" was suspended twice, once in September for failure to answer a summons out of the Town of Lewiston Court, and a second time in November for an insurance lapse. It was also observed that the inspection sticker on the vehicle expired in June.
Banks was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, driving with a suspended registration, driving without insurance, unlicensed operation, and driving an uninspected motor vehicle.
Number 1 Towing responded to tow the vehicle and the license plates were seized. Banks was transported to the Niagara County Jail and held on $250 police bail. He is due to appear in the Town of Lockport Court on Dec. 18.
