TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A Robinson Road restaurant that had closed its doors for repairs in mid-September, announced that it will not be re-opening them.
A notice posted to the restaurant's Facebook page on Wednesday placed the blame firmly on the owner of the building. The statement follows below in its entirety:
After a month and a half of trying to get the numerous health and safety issues including a leaking roof, mold, a broken sewer line and other things fixed including going to court twice we will be closed for good. The owner of the property Bou Jaoude refuses to make any repairs to the property. We apologize and appreciate the great times we had. If anyone has any questions you can email info@rapidsrestaurant.comThe restaurant, open just under two years, served traditional family restaurant / American cuisine.
