Lisa. M. Dietz, 43, 36 S. Bristol, was charged around 10 p.m. Wednesday with seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, and criminal possession of a hypodermic needle. According to the LPD arrest report, Dietz was found in her car with the hazards on on South Transit Road. A check showed that she had a suspended license. When she was being booked at LPD, police found two plastic baggies containing an off-white substance, which she said was heroin. The also found four hypodermic needles in the vehicle. Dietz is slated for City Court on Monday.
Shanon R. Lebel, 31, 74 LaFayette Blvd., Williamsville, was charged around 2:45 a.m. with DWI. According to the arrest report, Lebel was sitting in a car on Jackson Street with the keys in the ignition. He was determined to be intoxicated. A breath test showed he had a blood alcohol content of .12 percent. He is slated for City Court on Monday.
