NEWFANE — A Slayton Settlement Road man told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies on Wednesday that sometime in the past week, someone slashed two of the tires on his vehicle.
The man told patrol that he had parked his vehicle at a friends house on Lockport-Olcott Road around 8 a.m. on Nov. 13 and had been hunting for six days, then went to return home around 4 p.m. Wednesday.
As he was driving northbound on Lockport-Olcott Road, he realized that his two right side tires were flat and pulled into a private driveway.
He stated he was unsure how the damage was caused, but believed an unknown person intentionally damaged both tires. He said he would contact patrol if he discovers new information.
Case closed pending new information.
