To all Lockport Express fans:

We want to sincerely thank everyone who attended our home opener on Nov. 14 versus The Roc City Royals.

Once again, we apologize for the delay in the start of the game and appreciate your patience. The atmosphere was outstanding and it was great to see some familiar faces as well as meeting many new people from the community.  Many thanks to our sponsors:  Alison and Paul LoVullo and LoVullo Associates, Integris Financial Group and John Shepard, Partners Packaging, Mark Cerrone Inc, Eastern Niagara Hospital, Hildreth Electric, Confer Plastics, Ruth and Peter Friol and their companies, West Herr Auto, Basil Auto as well as Lock 34 Bar & Grill.

Going forward, we invite all to come out to our next 2 home games on Dec. 5 at 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 6 at 1 p.m. versus the East Coast Minutemen. Beginning at our practice Monday, we will be hosting a holiday food drive and we will donate the food to a food bank in the Lockport community. If you are able, please bring a canned good or any non-perishable items to the rink and we will have a donation box set up for this.  Let’s work together to help those who are less fortunate so that they too can enjoy a nice warm meal during the holiday season as well.

Lastly, our goal is to put a quality product on the ice that you will enjoy watching when you come to the rink. Part of that is your in-game experience. We are working hard to create an atmosphere that you, our fans, will enjoy when you attend our games. We have what we believe are some fun ideas but we are always interested in what our fans would like to see. Please feel free to send suggestions to me at: fvecchioexpress@gmail.com. If we decide to use your suggestion, you will receive free admission to a home game for up to four people.
