The Knights one-two punch in the 11 over breaststroke, Sam Murphy and
Delaney Adams.

Relays and individual races came down to a simple press of a stop watch as many of the races were decided by just that. Races were too close to call at times and swimmers and fans in attendance were left wondering who actually won during different events. After the waves in the pool settled and the water went calm, it was learned that St Greg Cougars were able to get past the Knights for the win and league title.
"A majority of the Knight swimmers posted personal best times and recorded all star times as well," according to Team Coordinator Marisa Morgan. "Those who raced today left it all in the pool. Parents and fans in attendance witnessed an amazing meet and spectacular swims. The Knights swam with heart and passion and represented their school with class, character, and pride."
Those recording first place finishes were Aidan Morgan in the 50 and 100 freestyle, Evan Chesko in the 50 butterfly, and Gracie Cordle in the 50 backstroke in the 9-10 year-old-division. The 11 and olders had 1st place finishes by Isabel Treanor in the 50 freestyle, Sarah Mullane in the 50 backstroke, and Sam Murphy in the 50 breaststroke.
Swimming their last regular season meet for the Knights as eighth-graders were Madeline Firkins, Alexandra Fox, Sarah Mullane, Celia Rahill, Victoria Robinson, Harmon Smith, and Isabel Treanor.
The Knights will compete at the Neumann Catholic League Championships on Sunday at UB. The Knight swimmers will be going after individual as well as relay championships for each respective age group (8 and under, 9-10, and 11 and older). With this talented group of swimmers, it is possible that a few league records may fall also.
