TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 29-year-old woman was charged with violating a protective order — by living in the basement of the person who had the order of protection.
Jacqueline P. Barrett violated a full stay away order out of the Town of Lockport Court while living in a woman's basement without her knowledge or permission.
Barrett was placed in custody for second-degree criminal contempt and released on her own recognizance. She is due back in the Town of Lockport Court on Thursday.
