TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A Niagara County Sheriff's Deputy clocked a motorcycle on South Transit Road going approximately 90 mph early this morning.
The bike was southbound when patrol saw it and began chase. "The vehicle continued south and appeared to make no attempt to slow or stop," according to the NCSO report. "The vehicle made a left turn into the Woodlands mobile home park and continued onto Fernwood Drive still at a higher-than-prudent speed. The vehicle then turned right onto Parkwood Drive and left onto Norwood Drive. It was at this time patrol determined it was too fast for the area and abandoned the pursuit."
While checking the area, patrol located the bike in the side yard of a Maplewood Drive home with the engine idling and the lights on. There was no operator nearby. The resident of the home came out and advised patrol it was her son's motorcycle and she did not know where he was. She consented to have the residence checked by patrol and he was not in the residence.
Patrol attempted to contact the bike's owner by phone to no avail. The bike was removed by Harrington's Towing until patrol can speak with the registered owner to determine who was operating it at the time.
This is the second high-speed chase involving a motorcycle in East Niagara in the past week. Three police agencies pursued a black motorcycle at high speeds through Middleport, Gasport and Lockport before losing the bike west of the city of Lockport early Sunday morning.

I was interested, until I found out that by "bike," you meant "motorcycle."
