NEWFANE — A Lockport woman cited Wednesday after a two-car crash at Brown and Dale roads in which police say she failed to yield the right of way.
Jolynne M. Hurtgam, 19, entered the intersection and crossed directly into the path of a second vehicle which was driven by Benjamin Smith of Appleton, according to state police.
Smith was uninjured in the collision. Hurtgam, however, was slightly injured, complaining of pain in the abdominal/pelvic area, she was treated at the Eastern Niagara Hospital-Lockport.
