Richard W. Butler, 48, 107 Genesee St., Apt. 7, was charged around 4 p.m. Tuesday with criminal mischief. According to his arrest report, Butler urinated on items at Family Dollar, 338 South Transit St., causing $191 worth of damage. He was to be in City Court Wednesday morning.
Joshua D. Talun, 25, 102 Glenhaven Dr., left apartment, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree burglary, and two counts of petit larceny around 5:20 p.m. Tuesday. According to his arrest report, Talun was caught breaking into an Evans Street home by the home's residents, who secured him until Lockport police arrived. Talun was found with four cell phones, three of which belonged to the burglary victims, and a bottle of pills, which were secured as evidence. Talun was due in City Court on Wednesday.
