The Friends of the Lockport Public Library, Inc. will hold their “Fabulous Fall” Used Book Sale Friday and Saturday in the library’s first floor Community Meeting Room.
Zoe Shufelt, chairperson of the event, said the sale “will feature good used books, DVD’s, CD’s, children’s materials, record albums and magazines at bargain prices."
Hours of the book sale are from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday. A pre-sale for members of the Friends of the Lockport Public Library will take place on Thursday from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Anyone is welcome to join the Friends and shop during the pre-sale. Individual memberships are only $5.00!
Proceeds are used to purchase new materials for the library and to sponsor programs of interest to the community.
