Josephine L. Sears of Gasport, NY entered into rest Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Newfane Health Care Facility.

She was born in Pendleton, NY February 8, 1942, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mildred Miller LaJoie. She worked for Harrison Radiator for 30 years, retiring in July 1, 1995. Loving Mother of Linda (Mike) Beck of Virginia Beach, VA, Patty Berner of Sarasota, FL, Sandie (Tom Palumbo) Cripps of Hilton, NY, Vicki (Bruce) Lee of Wilson, NY and Lori (Scott) Baehre of Clarence, NY. Sister of Nancy Fitch of Barker, NY and the late Joe, Joyce, Walter and Richard. Loving friend of  the late Richard Newman. Also survived by 14 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

No prior visitation. Graveside services will be held FRIDAY OCTOBER 17, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Wrights Corners Cemetery. The Rev. James Hassett will officiate. In lieu of flower; memorials to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated by the family.
