RAPIDS — An ATV stolen from a Tonawanda Creek Road home on Thursday was recovered Monday morning.
According to a report filed by the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, the father of the ATV's owner found the vehicle a mere half mile from where it was stolen from tucked in a hedgerow. The man told his son and they put gas in the ATV and rode it back to the residence.
"It appears the unknown person operated the ATV through the fields on (the man's) property until the ATV ran out of gas," the police report said.
