Ralph B. Harding of Niagara Falls, NY, husband of Kathryn Farley Harding entered into rest Monday, September 8, 2014 at home under care of his family and Niagara Hospice.

He was born March 11, 1936, the son of the late Philip J. and Lillian L. Lamb Harding. Ralph attended grade school in Mason City and Brandon, Iowa. He then attended middle and high School in Lockport, NY where he graduated in 1953. From 1953 to 1957 he served in the NY State National Guard. Enlisted in the US Army in 1957 and served his country in the 11th Airborne Division. Also served in the American Land Forces Middle East in Beriut, Lebanon in 1959, receiving his Honorable Discharge in 1960.  Ralph was appointed to the US Postal Service in 1962 as a Letter Carrier in Lockport, NY Post Office and in 1970 he was appointed to the position of US Postal Inspector and was assigned to various offices in the New England States. In 1978 he was assigned to the Buffalo Division as a Fraud and Prohibited Specialist. Ralph then was assigned to the US Justice Dept. Organized Crime Task Force from 1978 until his retirement in September 1990.  After his retirement he was employed as an attendant in the Golf Shop of the Niagara Falls Country Club.

Father of Matthew (Colleen) Harding, Greg Harding and Steven (Noelle) Harding all of Enfield, CT. Brother of Phyllis (Howard) Pellet of Fort Pierce, FL. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

No prior visitation. Burial will be in Corwin Cemetery, Newfane at the convenience of the family. Memorials to Niagara Hospice, Inc. 4675 Sunset Drive Lockport, NY would be appreciated by the family.
