An automobile crash Monday morning between a woman and two South Transit Street homes was not the result of drugs or alcohol, according to Lockport Police. And no charges were filed.
According to a release by LPD, officers responded to the crash around 9:04 a.m. Monday, as did Twin City Ambulance. The vehicle, driven by Jennifer L. Jacobs, was northbound on South Transit Street when it struck the curb, damaging the front right wheel, causing the car to leave the roadway and strike the front porch of 126 S. Transit St., then continue through the yard before coming to rest against the southside wall of 120 S. Transit St.
Jacobs was transported to Eastern Niagara Hosptial-Lockport by Twin City for treatment and evaluation. No serious injuries were reported.
