TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A former Walmart employee stands accused of stealing $427.27 worth of merchandise from the store Friday night, including two safes and a humidifier.

The accused, Teri Ann Ditzler, 39, 6075 Corwin Ave. was seen leaving the store with a shopping cart full of merchandise, according to a report filed by the Niagara County Sheriff's Office.

Security footage shows Ditzler putting the two security safes in her cart from the stationary section then putting pet products into her cart from the pet section. She is then seen pushing her cart past all points of purchase then out the front door, according to Walmart officials.

Patrol responded to Ditzler's home and placed her under arrest without incident. She was issued an appearance ticket to the Town of Lockport Court on Oct. 7.
