BRADFORD, PA — Two students from Lockport who have enrolled for the first time at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford this year are among those to have received Panther (merit) Scholarships from the university.

Panther merit scholarships are awarded to students at the time of their admission based on SAT and ACT scores and high school grades and can range from $2,000 to $11,500 per year.

Among those receiving Panther Scholarships are

Joseph Nagel, mechanical engineering student, who graduated from Lockport High School.

Amanda Harris, sport and recreation management student from, who graduated from Starpoint High School.
