Lila M. Fogle passed away September 18, 2014 in Odd Fellow & Rebekah Rehab & Health Care Center.

Born in Lockport on November 28, 1923 she was the daughter of Walter and Mary I. (Zimmerman) MacAvoy. She lived France for four years. Lila was a member of the Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Lockport where she taught church school, Eastern Star, the Family Guidance Mother’s Club, the PTA, was a scout leader, was a ham radio operator, and volunteered with the American Red Cross. She enjoyed her pets, playing BINGO and card, reading and feeding and watching the birds.

Lila was predeceased by her husband Robert E. Fogle of 71 years.Lila is survived by her children Peter (Mary Jane) Fogle, Marjorie (John) Kenney, and Jean (William) Edmister all of Lockport; grandmother of Robert (Gerri) Fogle, Michele (John) Martin, Christopher Kenney, Robin Bonanno, Andrew (Ni) Kenney, Julie (Seth) Edwards, Rebecca (Peter) Wydysh, and Sara (Seth) Cotillard; great grandmother of ten; sister of Nancy Schmitt, and the late Walter MacAvoy, Jean Lute, and Annette Swan; also several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, September 23 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 24 at 10 AM in Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 75 East Ave., Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. Memorial donations to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated.
