J. Dan Seager of Olcott, NY, husband of Hope McElwain Seager entered into rest Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at home. He was born in Tonawanda, NY April 4, 1934, the son of the late Kenneth and Cecelia Boyle Seager.

Dan was a veteran of the US Air Force. He worked for Harrison Radiator in Lockport for 30 years, retiring in 1993. Dan and Hope have been married for 55 years. He was a past member and secretary of the Olcott Lions Club, exempt member of Olcott Fire Company and a current member of the Olcott Yacht Club since 1971. Dan enjoyed boating, crossword puzzles, watching old movies and playing Euchre. Father of Mike (Beth) Seager of Mentor, OH, Dan Seager of Olcott, NY, Sue (Aaron) Shank of Burt, NY and Pam (Dan) Pearce of Wilson, NY. Grandfather of Michael, Rayann and Kelsey Seager, Melissa and Travis Marsh and Danielle Pearce. Brother of Cecelia Larcom of Reno, NV. And the late Dick Seager.
