ENP STAFF REPORTS

TOWN OF LOCKPORT — New York State Police say a Buffalo man was over the speed limit — and twice the legal blood alcohol limit when they pulled him over on Dysinger Road Sunday.
According to the NYSP report, Jeffrey J. Siefert, age 29 of Buffalo, turned onto Bowmiller Road and pulled into a residential driveway upon seeing the patrol vehicle slowing to turn around.
The trooper initiated a traffic stop in the driveway. While interviewing Siefert the Trooper smelled a strong odor of alcohol. Siefert failed sobriety tests and was charged with DWI, according to the arrest report. He was transported to SP Lockport where he recorded a B.A.C. of 0.19 percent.
He was also charged with speeding and having an uninspected motor vehicle, and was issued citations returnable to the Town of Lockport Court on Oct. 9.
