ENP STAFF REPORTS

NEWFANE — About $100 worth of damage was done to an alumni board and door at the Newfane Middle School over the weekend.
According to a report filed with the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, a man told patrol that he usually exercises at the school several times a week, using the running track located behind the school. When he arrived on Sunday, he noticed that someone had written several inappropriate words over the alumni board and doors to the bathroom facilities. Several of the windows were also scratched with an unknown object.
The last time the complainant was at the school exercising was Friday and neither graffiti nor the scratch marks on the windows were there.
Patrol will have periodic checks made at the Newfane Schools.
