TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A burglar got away with about $5 in change from a South Transit Road store after doing $150 in damage to gain entry.
According to a report filed by the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, someone broke into Monro Muffler, 5710 S. Transit Road, between 7 p.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday, damaging a window and door in the process.
Once inside, the thief took approximately $5 in miscellaneous coins from under the countertop.
This investigation is closed pending new information.
