Robert W. Tanner passed away August 23, 2014.  Born in Lockport on May 4, 1952 he was the son of Wilson E. and Rose (Smith) Tanner.  Robert worked as a laborer for Kistner Concrete and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his children Robert Tanner, Sharon Tanner and the late Mindy Rose Tanner; grandfather of Britany Tanner and Tyler Sheehan; brother of Carol J. Hill, Shirley I. Woolley, Joan Tanner and the late Gertrude Gunter, Rose Marie Seava, Wilson Tanner, Jr. and Bernice Savage; also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends may call Thursday, Aug. 28th from 2-4 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where services will follow at 4 PM.
