East Niagara Post photographer, Heather N. Grimmer, will have local photos
for sale at the Lockport Community Market today. 
The Lockport Community Market continues to grow and add new things to see and do.

The market, which runs from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. each Saturday through Sept. 27th on Canal Street features live entertainment, activities and demonstrations, and a multitude of vendors each week offering fresh produce, meat, baked goods, local wine, jewelry, unique gifts, and much more.

New vendors this week include:

  • Carole’s Robins Nest: Sandblasted glass items, painted items, sewn items, crochet items and jewelry.
  • JC Signs/Fig Finishing: Etched mirror art, wood crafts , jewelery , mail box vinyl , photo frames, sevices which are all hand-made.
  • HG Design Studios: Lockport-area and WNY photos by award-winning local photographer Heather N. Grimmer, photographer for East Niagara Post.
  • Midnight Run Winery
  • Yonique Products: Natural-based make-up and 3D lashes.


Live entertainment and activities for the week include:

  • An Outdoor Marathon Quilting Bee organized by Ellen Martin at 51 Canal Street. Members of the Kenan and Dale Quilting Guilds willl work together to put together a quilt honoring Aaron Mossell.  
  • Free Yoga class before the Market opens at the Canal Street gazebo from 7 - 8 a.m. Please bring a mat, blanket or towel and a water bottle. 
  • Local singer/songwriter David Stockton plays the Canal Street Gazebo from 9 a.m. until noon. 
  • Luke W. Hall & the Lower Mountain Band perform everything from Bluegrass to ACDC with acoustic instruments in the Canal Street gazebo from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m.
