TOWN OF LOCKPORT — An Ernest Road man turned over a knife a neighbor had found following an assault on Day Road on Aug. 4.
The man told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies on Thursday that his neighbor had located a silver bladed knife on the ground underneath a boat in the front yard of their residence. He said that the knife was found in the same area that the assault had occurred on Aug. 4.
Patrol turned the knife into NCSO Property Management.
