Julia I. Garvey passed away August 4, 2014 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born September 19, 1937 in Brookville, PA she was the daughter of Benjamin and Jessie (Hoffman) McManigle.

Julia worked for Harrison Radiator for 30 years in production retiring in 1995. She enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, retirement and especially enjoyed being with her family. Julia was predeceased by her husband Robert E. Garvey.

Julia is survived by her three children Greg, Dennis, and Rebecca Garvey all of Lockport; grandmother of Jennifer and Jeff Amidon, Liz and Ryan Garvey; eleven great grandchildren; sister of Marie Merry of Bradford, PA, Shirley Deal of Orangeport, FL, late Lee McManigle and Helen Sebring; several nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services held at convenience of family. Donations to the Wolcottsville Fire Company, 6337 Wolcottsville Rd, Akron, NY 14001 would be appreciated.
