ENP STAFF REPORTS

PENDLETON — A Cheektowaga man driving a dump truck struck the ATM at the Hi-Quality gas station on South Transit Road Saturday afternoon.
According to a report filed with the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, 41-year-old Richard J. Flora of Jamaica Lane, Cheektowaga, missed the entrance to the gas station and needed to turn his dump truck around to refuel so he drove in the ATM lane to make the turn, accidentally striking the ATM, which sustained structural damage to the top right corner and some scratches on its front, but was still functional.
The truck's tarp arm, which struck the ATM, was bent in the incident and is believed to be able to be repaired. The truck itself did not appear to have any damage.
Flora said that they could make arrangements to repair the ATM.
