A 70-year-old accident victim is in stable condition at ECMC following a rollover accident on South Transit Road this morning, according to state police.
Donald F. Ficarra of Amherst was traveling northbound on South Transit Road when his vehicle drifted off the roadway, hit a culvert pipe and went airborne before landing in the southernly direction.
Ficarra, who was taken by Mercy Flight to ECMC, was found to be suffering from a medical condition prior to the accident, according to police. No charges were filed.
