TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A Candlewood Drive resident told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies on Tuesday that someone took nearly $4,000 from his bank account.
The man told patrol that three separate purchases were made from his Key Bank account, totaling $3,749.89. The purchases were made on Monday at Best Buy online and Tuesday at Larue Tactical online.
The man told patrol that he contacted his bank and had closed his account. He could not provide patrol with any further information in regards to the incident or in regards to any possible suspects.
Patrol considers this case closed at this time pending new information.
