ENP STAFF REPORTS

BARKER — A 16-year-old Lockport boy was asked to leave Camp Kenan yesterday morning after asking other campers if they wanted to buy marijuana.
Niagara County Sheriff's deputies were called to the camp around 10:46 a.m. for a possible drug offense.
Upon arrival, patrol interviewed the teen, who confirmed that he was asking others at the camp if they wanted to buy marijuana. He said, however, that he did not have any on him, nor did patrol locate any on his person.
The teen's mother responded to the scene and picked him up. Camp Kenan does not want him to return.
The county's Drug Task Force was notified.
