TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A Niagara County Jail corrections officer says an inmate threw two cups of urine at him early this morning.
According to a report filed by NCSO, the corrections officer said that he was making his rounds at approximately 12:15 a.m. when an inmate referred to in the report only as "inmate Horton (Cell H 11)," made a loud noise in his direction.
The corrections officer said that when he turned to face Horton, he saw him with a styrofoam cup in his hand and make a throwing motion at him. The corrections officer says he was struck in the left side of his face by an unknown liquid, that was later found to be urine. Horton then scooped another cup full of urine out of the toilet to throw, but the corrections officer was able to avoid the second attempt and moved out of the way.
"Throughout the entire incident inmate Horton was yelling 'run fat man run,' " according to the report.
The case was turned over to the criminal investigations bureau.
