TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A Walmart employee was caught taking money from the register and now faces petit larceny charges, according to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office.

Tonya Bobzien, no age or address given, was seen on store surveillance video taking money from the cash register while working, according to store security. She was believed to have taken as much as $100 over the course of a few weeks, the report said.

When confronted, Bobzien admitted to patrol that she did steal money from the cash register, but it was only one time and the amount taken was $10.

She was issued an appearance ticket for the Town of Lockport Court for this morning.
