Leslie A. Huntington, 32, 211 Mill St., was charged around 10:27 p.m. Saturday with aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to yield, and driving without a proper inspection sticker. According to the LPD arrest report, Huntington was seen driving down Clinton Street hill and known to be driving without a license. Huntington was stopped and charged. He was transported to LPD for booking and released on $400 bail. He is to appear in City Court on Monday. A passenger in the vehicle, Jessica N. Lewis, also of 211 Mill St., was cited for facilitating unlicensed operation and is to appear in City Court on Wednesday.
Nahshon Tyrell Hughes, 34, 115 Willow St., was charged around 3:01 a.m. with second-degree attempted burglary and second-degree criminal contempt. According to the LPD arrest report, Hughes was seen on the front porch of an East Remick Parkway home as police were responding to a burglary-in-progress call. A resident of the home has an active order of protection against Hughes, the report said. He is to be in City Court on Monday morning.
