Yeugeny P. Ilyenko, 23, 13 Evans St., was charged around 12:36 a.m. with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle without insurance and an equipment violation. According to the LPD arrest report, Ilyenko was stopped for a loud muffler while driving on South Street and found to have a suspended driver's license and no insurance. He is slated to appear in City Court on Tuesday.

Jeffrey S. Popovich, 23, 287 Washington St., was charged around 3:05 a.m. with DWI and failure to signal. According to Lockport police, Popovich was seen turning on to Washington Street without using a turn signal. During the ensuing traffic stop, he was determined to be intoxicated. He is to be in City Court Tuesday morning.
