ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A pair of juveniles were charged Friday afternoon with shoplifting $60.52 worth of merchandise from Tops on South Transit Road.
According to the report filed by the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, a Tops employee observed an underage male and an underage female take deodorant, makeup, sunglasses, and silly string. They concealed the items and passed all points of purchase. The Tops employee approached the juveniles, brought them back to the security office and called NCSO.
Patrol took the juveniles into custody for petit larceny. The female was turned over to her aunt, while the male — who had been listed as a missing person out of the City of Lockport — was turned over to his father and removed from the missing person's list.
The juveniles have to appear at the Lockport Probation Office on July 31.
