Donald G. Hobel — November 10, 1928 - July 10, 2014

Donald G. Hobel passed away July 10, 2014. Beloved husband of 57 years to Shirley (nee Lutz) Hobel; devoted father of Donna (Jack) Carpenter and Kenneth (Sharon) Hobel; brother-in-law of Gary Lutz; cousin of Melvin Waldorf; Donald was also survived by nieces and nephews. 

 Donald was a regular attendee to Niagara County Legislature meetings and could often be heard as a caller (and occasional guest) on various radio programs on WLVL.

 The family will be present from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Amherst Chapel of Amigone Funeral Home, 5200 Sheridan Drive (at Hopkins Rd.) where Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Friends invited. 

 In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice. Share condolences at www.AMIGONE.com.
